For bookkeepers and accountants
Petty cash receipts, delivered on the 2nd
Every month it's the same: a client's petty cash is a shoebox of faded dockets and a total that doesn't add up. PettyCashing fixes it at the source, where the cash leaves the tin.
What you get from each client
When your client adds your email in PettyCashing, on the 2nd of every month you get one email with:
- Last month's totals by category, ready to code
- Every cash-out with date, amount, what it was for and who took it
- A link to the photo of each receipt (links work for 18 months), or the written reason when there wasn't one
- A CSV you can import into your spreadsheet or ledger
- Every tin count that month and whether it matched, so shortfalls don't hide until year end
Your client gets a copy, and if you hit reply it goes straight to them. You don't need an account or a login.
What it costs you
Nothing. The client pays A$9.99 a month per business. There's no charge to receive the monthly pack.
How to get clients on it
- Send a client the link: pettycashing.com
- They set up their tin in about five minutes and stick a QR code on it.
- They add your email under Settings. The next pack lands on the 2nd.
What it doesn't do (yet)
- It doesn't sync with Xero or MYOB. You import the CSV.
- There's no single bookkeeper dashboard across clients. Each client's pack arrives as its own email.
